I am so sad... as it is we are going to have to take out a loan to pay for the wedding... and cannot afford to have the limos....
Please tell me I am not the only bride on earth who won't be arriving to her wedding in a limo!!!!!

I know a lot of people who are having their ceremony and reception at the same place aren't wasting the money on a limo no one will see anyway. And, really... it's up to you. If you don't see it as one of your priorities, then make your decision about not having one and don't feel bad about it! Your wedding will be awesome and original and that's what counts!

Don't feel bad. Due to a budget, I am having everything at one location on a sunday during the day. I will not be having limos. I definitely feel for you. Don't worry, Limos are not the most important part of the wedding. You will be happy regardless!!

I seriously considered not doing the limo... I ended up with one - just so I wouldn't have to coordinate the cars getting to the different locations. but I had to revise my budget to get it all to fit...
I wouldn't stress over it... as long as you get there, it really doesn't matter how.

Limos aren't necessary. Just remember: the bride is not allowed to drive the day of her wedding. Make somebody else do it.

I couldn't agree more. Since our entire wedding is at the hall, why spend the $$ on a limo??? I can use that $$ elsewhere...pictures, flowers, etc...

I only decided to get one because I didn't want to squish into the car with my dress on. Plus I thought it would be easier to get everyone to our destination...everyone being me & my bridal party. Our ceremony & reception are both at the Fox Hollow. I went with a black limo because it was cheaper. We're still paying $180 for a very short pick-up, drop-off...but in the long run it isn't that much money.

I'm sorry you won't be able to do limos like you had hoped....We are debating them. The only reason we would do limo's is if we decide to take pics beforehand at a different location. Don't worry, everything will still end up great!

The only reason I ma so upset is b/c it is SUCH a long drive from my house to the park (Over an hour) and I was looking forward to just hanging out with my girls and relaxing on the way there... oh and having a bar in the vehicle helps too....

We are not doing limos.
I am getting ready at the RH (MU & hair) so I will bring my dress and everything with me in my own car.
Since we are not seeing each other before the ceremony, FH is staying at his dad's and drive with his dad.
We are driving back together in my car. I will have it detailed and everything....

you could rent a 8 passenger SUV for the day from Budget for under $130 with unlimited miles. I don't know how many girls you have, but that could be an option.

We got married at the hall, and the night before, we stayed in a hotel that was 10 minutes from the hall. There was no reason for us to have limos.
