Anyone NOT having make up done

I really haven't found anyone that I am happy with. I do wear make up daily but I am not a person who wears foundation.

Can one of you ladies who know how to dress your face up give me some pointers on how to keep my make up on.

For girls who dont like to wear foundation I recommend Bare Minerals. Its so light but provides the coverage you need without feeling cakey. Go to Sephora... they will show you how to apply it. Its long lasting also.

i agree... while its a lil pricey for my pocketbook, i have tried bare minerals, and it was like putting a cloud on my face and it never ever needed retouching...

I use Bare Minerals every day. I love it. It is a little pricey, but it LASTS a long time. I go through only 2 pots of the foundation a year, and I'm on the same blush for almost 2 years now. (not sure if it's still good .. but I haven't broken out ... ) I do wear a tinted moisturizer underneath it when I am going out at night, when I want a little more makeup on. Neutrogena makes a really good one.

i concur on the bare mineals.. there is also a bare escenutals store in roosevelt field if ure close by. they will do ur make up for u.. u can see the difference but u just can't feel it.it's great

I am planning to do my own makeup. I am usually a MAC user, but I am trying to find at home airbrush makeup that works for my skin type. I know HSN carris a line, and MAC has it in their professional line. Just take time to experiment with what you like. Bare Essentials is very good

I think it is great you are doing your own makeup...i feel like I will wind up doing the same thing...I have never found anyone who can do my makeup and I still look and feel like me.

Im a Bare Minerals fan too. I love it cause if I fall asleep in it, it doesnt give me pimples! Very light make-up.

Thanks, I will look into bare minerals and mac. I spent alot of money on a couple of trials and have to say I was not impressed and they want alot for the day of. I would rather spend that money on something else.

I use it daily also. I love it b/c I don't like make-up but it just gives me a clean polished look. I am just going to pick up some blush and eyeshadow for extra color for my special day

I love bare minerals! If you use a conceler around your eyes first...then your the powder foundation and then top it off with their Mineral Vail...You will look like your makeup is flawless w/o looking overdone!

The mineral vail is awesome over the foundation for special occassions....Heres a tip...

Either HSN or QVC carries sample sizes of them..you can order a sample kit w/ foundation, mineral vail, and whatever else comes in it for like $30! Check it out....

It might be pricy but like everyone else says...it lasts FOREVER!

I use MAC Studio Fix as well and according to my friend, who is a makeup artist, this powder is used for professional photography. I love it and it is so light and I don't even wear foundation with it.

I am not doing my makeup on my own but I just wanted to rave how amazing this powder is and how light it is.

ETA: I just looked at your pics and you have flawless skin so I would think you don't need to apply too much foundation or powder.

I have been trying to find a foundation for years being that I have problem skin and I LOVE LOVE LOVE bare minderals a little pricey but its great doesnt clog pores and stays on all day also helps with the oil zones....as far as eye makeup goes I love MAC or SEPHORA...they have awesome color and brushes as well...and believe it or not I found that my best lipstick is from AVON.

Also just maybe what about Mary Kay I know sometimes they will come and do trials but I don't know how expensive they are

Another thought....Philosophy makes an awesome makeup primier that works well under Bare Minerals! Helps it last even longer..

I used something similar to bareminerals. It's called purminerals and I got it at Ulta. I think it was around $30 for a pot of foundation, bronzer, and blush. I've never worn foundation before, but I loved this stuff. It goes on really light, but it covers flaws amazingly. I was hesitant to do my own makeup for my wedding, but it actually turned out really nice and I got tons of compliments on it - plus it lasted all day! I would defintely recommend somthing like this or bareminerals. Good luck!

Is there anyone you know of who didn't wear foundation for their wedding?

I NEVER wear it and I know I'll be uncomfortable all day if I do.

Will I look weird in the pictures?
