Anyone not introducing your parents?

Anyone not introducing your parents?

It's a second wedding for both of us and both our parents are divorced, there's step-parents as well. We are hosting, our parents are just invited.

I extended the offer to have my mom walk me down the aisle since she raised me and didn't get to walk me down at my first wedding.

It honestly never occurred to us to have our parents walk in before the bridal party during the reception until we saw it at the show the other day. Is this something we have to do?

It would be like:

My mom and her date.
My dad and his wife.
His mom and her date.
His stepdad and his date.

I don't know what to do!!!!

We have the same dilemma and were wondering what to do. We were planning on just having them introduce our children and then us. We each have grown boys from our first marriages and they are the wedding party. His 2 boys are his best men and my 3 boys are walking me down the aisle. I am having my 2 sisters as my MOH and 2 neices as flower girls.
Do I introduce my sisters & flower girls too?

Do they get along well enough to walk in together? Its not like either of them are remarried and their spouse will be upset if they are left out! Or if its awkward, have your son walk out with them too as a buffer!

I agree with kedra - just for the sake of making it easier on you, could they walk together in harmony as your parents?

Nope. It would probably be a fist fight.

My dad is remarried and FH's parents are in the middle of a divorce. Not gonna be pretty.

If it is not going to be pretty don't introduce them. For FH's son's Bar Mitzvah they introduced him and his ex separately and they came in alone, not with their 'guest'.
Can you talk to them and see if they think they can be 'civil' long enough to walk in together? They don't have to be arm-in-arm.

eek thats a lot of people!

Honestly my opinion.... its not necessary!

Im having a similar issue.... FH's parents are divorced but I actually want them to come out together.... Lets see if we can make that happen!

My Father passed away so I may ask one of my Uncles to come out with my Mom...

Wow, something else for me to stress about now LOLOL

I think what we are going to do is introduce:

My mom.

My dad.

His mom.

His dad.

All separately. It will probably be the easiest and no one feels left out. (I don't really consider my dad's wife as my step mom since I only started talking to my dad a few years ago. It would be weird to introduce her.)

ETA: We are probably also going to introduce the bridal party separately since each of their dates are not in the bridal party.
