My friend is a make up artist, I may have her do my make up instead of someone else. I am def getting my hair done because I cant do that myself
im having a friend do it..maybe splurge and get it done
There is a way to get it done for free, but not sure if you'll have the time
i was thinking of going to the mall..cause ill have a lot of time that morning..i dont have to be at CLM until 5pm
yeah if you have time to go to the mall you can do your make up there
If you're thinking of going to a makeup counter at the mall and getting it done, I would talk to someone and set something up before hand. One of my BM's does works at a makeup counter and she is really good, but not all of the girls that do makeup are. Some of them suck!!

aint that the truth...I went one time and they did the worst make up for me. I understand the smokey eyes thing is in and i like it but on me it seriously look horrendous...Another make up artist explained to me that my eye lids are too big and cant be done and thats why it looked bad...Well as a make up artist they should've known this, regardless they put on way too much, all around my eye even on top was a dark grey oh and with a fuschia lip color...Not to mention for my friend they did blue eye shadow and pink lipstick

Oh wow!! I can't even imagine having bad makeup for my wedding day!! I would cry if someone tried to put blue eyeshadow on me!! My friend is very good, but she has never had any professional training. Most of the girls that she works with are really young and they just need a job...they are not pros by any means!!
I hate people touching my face, doing my own, worked as makeup artist for years with Clinique, so am not worried, will get my hair done, though, I have uncooperative hair...
As of right now....I am going to do my own make-up...I have worked for Estee Lauder part-time for 8 yrs. Also...as for going into Macy's and getting your make-up done for free...not all the make-up counters do that. For most companies...the make-up application is free with a 3 product purchase. If it's a regular employee...and not a free-lance make-up artist...they also work on commission...so it's only fair to purchase something since they are taking the time to do your make-up.
i'm not 100% sure...i would like to have it done but don't know if that's in the budget.
I'm doing the same. For my FSIL wedding she gave us a choice to have our make-up done or not. When she told me it was $45 and we had to supply the make-up....I'll do it myself thank you!
