I'm so conflicted. I don't want to get ready at my parent's house because it's going to stress me out- whenever people have to get ready to do anything there they fight over the bathroom and bicker...I don't want the stress. I have a suite at the Three Village Inn and I just want to get ready there but that makes taking pictures at my parent's house really difficult, time wise. FH said the last thing that he wants is for me to be stressed that day.
So, is anyone NOT taking pics at their parent's house?

I am not taking pictures at my parent's house since they live in AZ. I will be getting ready at a hotel and taking pictures there with my parents and bms.

I'm not taking pics at my parent's house. My parent's don't live together and they're both in Brooklyn. We're getting a hotel in LI and will get ready there. It kind of bums me out that I won't have pics at their houses, but it would just be WAY too stressful trying to get all that done before the wedding.

We have a room at our RH as well. My mom was a little upset that we wouldn't be getting ready at her house, but there isn't enough time to get everyone ready and then transport everyone to the RH.
We exchanged our engagement shoots with the photographer for a day after shoot. We'll go to my parents house that day for pictures.

I'm not because the church is in Brooklyn where I live (one block away from the church) and they live in Staten Island. While I could make it work, I don't want to chance traffic, etc. I'm getting ready at what will be *our* apartment (we don't have it yet, but we want to stay in our neighborhood) and I've invited whoever wants to get ready there to come. (Meaning if Dad just wants to get in his tux at home and drive to my place because he will be home all day while my mother and I are out getting ready, that's fine) but we'll be doing the pics at my place, not theirs. It's also worth it to mention that their house now is not the house I grew up in - they moved from my neighborhood to Staten Island a few years ago. But if my parents still lived in Brooklyn at our old house (which is less than 5 minutes from the church) I would get ready and take pics there (if that makes sense).

i'm still debating on whether or not we're going to get ready at my parent's house or the garden city hotel. i'm starting to lean towards the house b/c it's just more convinient..esp for my BM's where they can easily pick up their car afterwards at my house rather than going back to the hotel. plus it saves $$$

I am not. I am taking pics at the hotel where me and my BP are getting ready, then at the RH. And thats that for me!!!! Easy and simple!
