We're getting married in a church about 1/2 an hour from the reception place, and we have about 14 people in the bridal party ( more than we initially wanted, but that's how it ended up). Keeping in mind that everyone in our bridal party has dates who would need to drive themselves to the church and reception place anyway, do we really need limos? I just really don't want to deal with the hassel and the extra $$, and I'm thinking it might actualy be logistically MORE complicated to have them vs. not having them...but it is weird/rude to not have them?? Especially for a bridal party of that size? Thanks!

WE are not having limo's. Too much money. All of my friends that got married and had limos had problems.

Re: Anyone not using limos?
I was a MOH last summer and they only used 1 limo. It picked the guys up at grooms house and dropped them off at the church (only about 5 minutes away) Then it came to the brides home and picked up the girls and her parents. FH met us at the church in his car and after the church the bridal party took their own cars to the reception and the bride and groom took the limo. That worked out pretty well except for married couples who were both in the bridal party. Earlier that morning the they dropped their cars off at the church and the brides father met them there, loaded them all in his truck and brought everyone to either the bride or grooms house.
We did not take any pics in between the church and reception. If you do go somewhere in between you may want to think about using a limo or else you will have all of your bridal party's signifiant others milling around while you guys are taking pictures.
