We are considering not using limos. I've heard so many horror stories about problems, and we are on a really tight budget, plus we are having the ceremony and reception at the same place. Is anyone else not doing limos, or know anyone that didn't do limos?

We are not...With the ceremony and reception being at the same place and the budget that we were on we were more than willing not to use them.

I am not using limos either. To get to the ceremony/reception, my aunt and uncle have two white expeditions, so they will drive me and my girls, and the guys will just get a ride with someone. For getting home, we got a bus for our hotel guests, so we are going on the bus with them since we are staying at the hotel

We weren't going to, and I was going to get ready in the bridal suite... but then I thought about it a little bit more, and decided I wanted to have pictures of me getting ready at home, and to get in a car with a dress would be really hard. Also I really like the pictures with a limo. So, we are going to get pick-up/drop off service, take a few pics with the limo and thats it. My other thought was 'how many times in your life do you get to ride in a limo?'

we werent, but i didnt want to put it on for pictures at my moms house then take it off just to put it back on at the hall. and if you deside to wear it without a limo you are more likely to get wrinkles or get it dirty.

we are not we dont need one realy the 3 village inn is like 10 min away from us- and we are doint everythign there and then the next day some one will give us a ride home

We just got married on Saturday and didn't use limos. It worked out fine because the church and reception place were so close to eachother. We were also on a tight budget and I really don't think we missed anything big by not having one.

At first my FH thought his parents would be paying for part so he assumed we'd have a Limo like his sister had. Once he found out his father had no intentions of paying for much of anything, the Limo dream died as did most of his ideas, sadly. We're getting married at the hall anyway.
