I have a lot of bling going on headpiece , earrings and bracelet wise, I can't find a necklace that would match but won't be overkill. Is it ok to just go without?

only reason I ask too is b/c I was going to get necklaces for the BM's than FH pointed out that that will look weird if all of them have necklaces and you don't...

I think with all of the other bling you have going on you probably don't need a necklace. do you have a picture of the dress? Maybe we could see what it would look like without it.

im not wearing a necklace.... i have headpiece, chandelier earrings and a bracelet with a lot of shine plus the crystals on my dress so presonally i thought it would be too much wtih a necklace too, so i dont think u need it, but its def. a personal opinion

I didn't wear a necklace, and neither did my BMs.
Surprisingly, I think your FH might have a valid point
What if you didn't get them necklaces? I got my girls long earrings and bracelets.

I think I might do that, just get them fancy earrings b/c I'm having probs picking a necklace anyway. lol My dress is very plain though, no beading or anything. Here's a pic:

My BM's all wore necklaces but I didn't. The beadwork on my dress was more than enough I thought. I felt like I had enough with earrings, headpiece, bracelet, & rings.

I'm trying to decide on this myself right now. I may go without a necklace. I think with earings and my hair being down that its enough. not sure yet.

im not - im not a necklace person and i think im going to wear chandeleir earrings and a bracelet....i think naked necks are more sexy

I don't think I am going to - I plan on buying a pearl earring and necklace set just to try it out though, and if I don't like it, I have longish earrings that are just crystaly - rhinestone-y ... can't describe them!!! Kinda pave looking but fake? Anyhow, I have a lot of beading and I think the only think that would look nice is a very simple necklace.
However - I think if your dress is simple and doesn't have beading -- you could definitely do a necklace. What kind of earrings do you plan on wearing? Long? ANd how are you going to wear your hair? All of that matters, in my opinion. I personally don't like how long earrings look if my hair is up, so I chose earrings that are only an inch long or so. And I also have a simple tiara - almost like a headband, actually. But maybe buy a few things and try it out once you get your dress? You can always return necklaces. Macy's has a great selection. A necklace made of that fishing line type styff with a few pearls on it would look beautiful with a simple dress.
GOOD LUCK. I know that DOJ is hard to decide on!!! I have found it one of the hardest things.
