Goldi1021- Do the Bridal shops stop you from taking pictures in the store? Why?

I haven't been shopping for my dress yet but I think I'm going to try to stay away from strapless. I've never worn a strapless dress before and I'm afraid that I'll be pulling up all night because I'm not used to it.

This was mine. I loved it! Strapless shirts do nothing for me, so I didn't even try on the strapless wedding gowns.

I don't know if I ever heard of a salon allowing you to take pics unless you buy it first. it's really weird and I don't know why.

If you don't know who the designer is (some salons rip out the tags) you may be able to compare it online and buy it for less.

When I bought my dress, it said one style # on the garment bag it was stored in. when I got home and did a search for it online, it was actually another style # on the Mfg.'s website.

They dont want you to buy it anywhere else for a lower price. They usually cut the tag of the designer out. I knew who made the dress so it didn't matter.

i actually bought a strapless dress but the bridal salon i bought my dress from actually had a one piece mesh body suit you put on under your dress and it makes the dress look like it has sleeves it hard to explain but i will post pics once i try them on I hate me in strapless

99% of all Bridal Salons will not let you take pictures. The only exception that I have found so far was Beautiful Bride in Lynbrook and I was shocked that they said it was OK.

Originally I thought I would never be comfortable in a strapless, now I have been trying them on along with every other style under the sun.

I don't have a picture but mine has spaghetti straps and a sweetheart neckline. I was/am dead set against strapless because I am one of those brides that will be on the dance floor with her hands over her head waving them around, and with a strapless I will be doing nothing but pulling it up!

Neither does mine. In fact he has repeatedly stated that he is only dancing the first dance because he HAS to. My BP however, and his BM LOVE LOVE LOVE to dance, so that is where I will be, while he eats the cannoli from the Viennese hour he HAD to have.
