When trying on my dress the lady kept putting veils on me also and I just felt like it was a little too much for me...Even my mother was like take the veils off her lady cant you see she doesnt like them lol. Just wondering if anybody else is not wearing one.
I plan on doing some blingy hair clip

If you don't feel like a veil is for you then don't force it. i will be wearing one for the ceremony and pictures...but off it will come to party...and I will have a blingy flower in my hair instead

for a year a said i wasn't going to wear one but when i went to my fittings, i changed my mind b/c it really did complete my look. if you don't like it, then you don't have to. i think a lot of ppl do a headpiece instead of a veil anyways.

I'm not doing a veil. I'm getting married outside so incase it is windy I don't want to veil flying around. Instead I am doing a blingy headband.

I am not the biggest fan of veils myself... My wedding is So close and I still haven't decided :0(

I just peeked at your dress (its gawwwgeous!!) and I think a side hairpiece like that would be perfect

I totally didn't feel the veil either, not doing it...just going to do a couple feathery flowers on the side hehe

I was only planning on wearing my veil for the ceremony and then for a few pictures (I also had a headband which I was going to just keep on for the reception). I actually wound up keeping the veil in all night because I totally forgot about it once the reception started. Didn't bother me at all which surprised me.

same here...it makes me feel claustrophobic which is interesting b/c my dress is gigantic and like 20 pounds hehe

Thanks so much :0).... I am actually having a hard time picturing a veil with my dress!!!
