Anyone on a weight loss regimen to prepare

for the wedding? FH and I started Couch to 5K and I found a podcast that keeps the timing for you. I did it for the first time today and it was great.. the podcast..not the run/walk. But I felt good afterwards. So FH is going to do it this evening.

Does anyone have great workout regimens/ideas?

Oh here's the Podcast

eating healthy and do alot of strength training, incorporating weights and all that, the reason why is bc with aerobics you will only burn fat for that time you are working out and thats it, when you build muscle you continue to burn fat throughout the day even after you finish working out. ALot of ab work outs, arm workouts with weights, push ups and arm dips. Pilates is amazing too

I agree.. and while I don't have a prob with changing food choices the FH does.. he kills me with his snacks. But he's getting better. In addition to the running, I do Fluidity
It's like a pilates/ballet hybrd (sp?) I did a fitness challenge a year ago, with free classes and I had the BEST arms and back EVER!!! Actually my whole body was long and lean with still with 'lady parts' But my arms and back never looked like that before. But alas, my snacks kept calling me..so I have to work to get it back.

Espo22, running doesn't build muscle? Or do you mean that we need to incorporate some type of actual weights in our routine?

I've been on a low carb diet. I eat lots of protein and veggies. If I do eat any carbs it's whole wheat. Then for a snack I like the weight watchers snacks. I also do half hour of cardio per day and add free weights every other day.
