I'm 4 years out of college and all of my friends are on there!

You sign up, and then list all of your friends that are on there. They list all of their friends, etc. So you can trace your 6 degrees of separation and see who you know! It's pretty funny...I've been tied to some random people who I already knew!

I don't know anyone who is on there.

So I would just sign myself up?

Definitely, and then you can send your friends emails asking them to sign up..

Kind of--you can send messages to people you find someone or something in common with--I found some people I hadn't seen in years on there!

how do you know if your friends are on there. you search?

eta: oh so the way you get linkages is to send emails to friends to sign up? i hate getting those emails 'mary! XXXX wants you to sign up for friendster.com!' ugh no thanks. then i'll get even more spam than i get now.

i am on there though. i just never sent out the emails.

Ok, I signed myself up.
