My gyno put me on it and took me off reg otho my face has been breaking out a lot, which makes no sense. Usually I do not get pimples and now I could die

it's the progestin in birth control pills that usually gives you acne. You could ask your physician for a pill that has more estrogen and less progestin

I was on one pill (Estrostep) for 8 years, and then my insurance company started calling it a 'preferred' brand and stopped paying for it.

So I switched to ortho low, but couldn't stand it - it gave me the worst cramps I've ever had in my life. So bad I actually had to call in sick to work.

So I switched to Yasmin, and took it for 4 months, and... let's just say it made my libido so low, there was no reason to even be ON bc pills. Plus, I cried like every day. For four months. It wasn't pretty.

After 4 months of that, I just stopped taking them. Now another problem: it took about 3 weeks, but now that I WANT to... eh hem... again, I'm not on the pill. I'm thinking of just sucking it up and paying for Loestrin (another one not covered by my insurance) and seeing how that works for me.
