Re: Anyone on WW?
Just looked it up for you. If it's a normal 8 slice pizza from a regular NY pizza place, it's 6 points...but I usually throw in an extra point for something like that... 7's not too bad though! Enjoy it! I'm trying to save up some points for a slice at the end of the week! :)

I get light cheese on mine or I take off the cheese if it's too heavy. So I would say between 6-8 points.
'Regular' cheese and medium crust: your typical pizza-parlor slice 5

It's probably 8 points then. The one in the book I think is 1/12 of a pie

Re: Anyone on WW?
It is tricky living in New York.
It depends on the size. Something from Dominoes or Pizza hut is 6pts per slice. But your mega NYC slices from most pizzarias is 9pts. Add 3 points for any meat toppings.
I was just discussing this with my sis (we both do WW) on Sunday.

Does anyone go to the centers around Stony Brook? I think there's one in Selden and one in Mt. Sinai. I need to go, but find all sorts of excuses not to. I'm thinking if I have someone to go with, it will be easier.

Sorry, I don't live that far out. But I know exactly what you mean. You just have to get up and do it. I'd been saying since February that I was going to register, and I always found a convenient excuse to skip it.
The hardest part is signing up. Once you do that, you'll find an amazing support group of people inside. So, just get there, and make friends.
