I first saw my dress at a boutique in Bayside, $900. Then at RK Bridal, $630. Now, I can get it on netbride.com for $434!!! Has anyone used them before because this is almost too good to be true?

many people on this site have used netbride. it is in their reviews. maybe try a search on this site for the word netbride and see what comes up

I ordered my Maggie gown from Netbride and saved a bundle!!! $$$$
Their customer service is excellent and they were so easy to work with .. my dress came in 2 weeks earlier than the 'guaranteed' delivery date.
As long as you have a recommendation for a seamstress or tailor to alter your dress when you receive it, I'd HIGHLY recommend them!!

I got my dress from Netbride and saved a bundle... as to alterations I have/had the same questions. This is what I found:
1) 'some' salons will do it even if you didn't buy it there. I think Bethpage Bridal may be one?
2) I hear that 'Lucy' at Crystal Waters (Merrick?) will alter a dress. FM ValentineGirl for more info, or do a search, her info is on here.
3) I was actually referred to a seamstress by the ladies at that lingerie shop on 107 that everyone reccomended (I can't remember the name!!) but anyway - I haven't called her yet to inquire about anything. I'll post when I do. She's in Hicksville.
4) If you have a neighborhood cleaner/tailor that you TRUST (I meant totally) you could maybe go there (this is from my FMIL - who is 78 years old and lived during different times!)
Anyway -- that's some ideas. I hope you find something useful! Let us know

i ordered my bridesmaid dresses there, and they have been great. they were much less expensive and they came in a month early. i know a seamstress so it works well for me. good luck!

I ordered my gown from netbride & they were wonderful! But, I highly suggest using a bridal shoppe for alterations if at all possible. I went to a dress making shoppe that I always thought was good & had major issues w/ them. Looking back I think a lot of the issues were due to them not dealing w/ wedding dresses on a regular basis(they had done them, but it can't compare to what a bridal shoppe seamstress deals with).

we got our BM dresses from them and they were great to work with and dresses came earlier then expected..saved a bunch!! so worth it!
