I went with my BMs to look, but we aren't going to order until May at the earliest. I think 6-8 months would be enough time.

We have time...I saw one that I liked but I want the whole experience of shopping with my bridesmaids
My MOH is getting married in July and we just ordered our BM dresses in December

You have so much time for that. Just think of all the new styles that will be coming out. I would hold off for a few more months.

I'm waiting 10 months before my wedding date. I haven't even thought about what I want for my dress yet! We have plenty of time, also, I agree with the above post that you want to put it off as long as possible so you can take advantage of all the new styles.
