Does anyone, or anyone's DH do any kind of home construction? My mother wants to redo her kitchen, but she's having a hard time finding someone. She lives in South Huntington, it would be re-tiling, new cabinet installation, new appliances, new countertop....she doens't want to break the bank, and it can be done as a side job (weekends) there is really no rush....help?!?

oh goodness, good luck, my dad is doing my parents house now..iiiiii what a mess and it is some job, right now we can't even cook and eat there... but the end result will be beautiful...i would recommend my dad he is retired, but i know once this is done he will not want to do it again i think it turned out to be a bigger job then he had expected. If i were you I would check the pennysaver for someone.

the problem with the pennysaver is getting someone that is going to show up...we have had 2 people not even show up for the stupid estimate.....yikes.....

had i had pictures....he currently in a house extension (up 1 floor) as we speak. his work speaks for himself and i'm proud to mention his name here...
