Anyone out there preparing anything tonight for tomorrow??

Anyone out there preparing anything tonight for tomorrow??

Are any of you ladies preparing things tonight for tomorrow? So far, I have made my sweet potato pie and cookies. I am going to cut my white potatoes and leave them in cold water in the fridge for tomorrow, cut up all the veggies for tomorrow but I dont know what else I can do basically.

What are you ladies doing??

I made my:

Carrot soup
Pumpking pie

Then I cooked and peeled my pearl onions so that I can do carmelize them tomorrow.

Cooked and peeled my chestnuts for the stuffing

Cut up all my celery, onions, bread for the stuffing. Cooked the Sweet Potatoes.

Made the potatoes to soak to cook and mash tomorrow

I just have to cook the turkey, make the stuffing, cook the onions, and heat up the pototoes, and bake the brown sugar on the sweet pototoes, heat the soup, and make the whipped cream for the pie

FI has to work but everyone he works with are all bringing things in to have a nice big thanksgiving day diner. FI is making the turkey, stuffing, gravy, biscuits and I am baking for him.

I have been baking cookies, cupcakes are in the oven now and then its onto brownies.

I am making creamed pearl onions tonight, and also the cranberry sauce. My aunt is having Thanksgiving but she needed help since she had surgery on her wrist 2 weeks ago.

Oh and my FH is out partying it up. Without me. Whoop de do.

I could've made the clam dip appetizer tonight that I'm bringing to FIL's but I got really lazy and then started watching tv...so, I'll just have to do it tomorrow.

I just finished the homemade stuffing. I have to have it at my moms by 8:00 tomorrow morning to stuff the turkey. So much for having the day off and sleeping late tomorrow.

Yesterday I made the cranberry sauce and some shortbread cookies and made a turkey stock for gravy, ironed tablecloths and napkins. (polished silver on Tuesday)

This afternoon & evening

** Pumpkin pie
** Pecan pie
** Chocolate Pumpkin Bundt Cake with chocolate glaze
** Cornbread and Buiscuits for southern cornbread dressing
** Corn Pudding

DH's aunt dropped off the stuffing and some home-roasted peppers tonight.

Tomorrow I'll stuff and prepare the turkey, peel potatoes for mashing, finish the cornbread dressing, and if there is time, cut some of the antipasta stuff. MIL is coming early, so she and her FI can do it if they get here before I get to it.

After all this, I'll drop from exhaustion shortly after sitting down to eat!

My FMIL made her 'famous' carrot cake, adn I helped a little bit. And I made Chopped Liver!!!! It was my first time. It's my mom's recipe. It's tradition in my family to have it at every holiday, but since my mom moved to Florida 2 years ago we haven't had it. So she gave me her recipe and I made it. It came out great, if I may say so myslef!! I am so excited.

How did everyone's dishes come out?

My 2 dishes came out wonderful, and FH called me asking if I wanted to come out for awhile and so I did!
