Hi everyone. Im expecting in April and getting married in January.j/w if anyoes in the same boat and seeing if i could get some advice on dresses.
another ?...about how long do the dresses take to come in, 12 weeks?

Im not pregnant but wanted to let you know dresses actually take a little longer than that...depending on designer its either 6-8 months, some 8-10 months and some a year...ive heard of a few girls getting it in about 4-5 months though

My cousin was pregnant when she got married, she went to Davids Bridal and got something off the rack (she planned the wedding in about 2-3 months). She got something that was a-line and had lace over it she didn't even look pregnant with it on, the dress was perfect.

my cousin was pregnant too; she got her dress at one of those manhasset salons and it took about 2-3 months to come in - it was a fancy, strapless dress. so i think it depends on where you go. you can always put a rush on it. some places will tell you six weeks

my cousin's new wife got hers in saks ordered in july and they got married in sept it was carolina herrera
I wasn't pregnant, but I got my gown from RK bridal in about 10 weeks. I think many dress shops may delay ordering the gown for months if the bride comes in over a year in advance, leading to the wide array of times it takes for a gown from the same vendor to arrive.
I think Davids is likely your best bet, since gowns can come in quickly, and they likely have maternity gowns you can try on in all their shops....

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Depends on where you go. If you can find something in Dabids Bridal you cn always exchange sizes and they come in very fast!!!

Sorry i just saw your wedding date, i thought it was later...but yeah there are places like davids bridal where you can buy off the rack...Many stores will get it to you soon and if anything they can put a rush order on it but regardless im sure they can work it out for you

Dresses can indeed come in twelve weeks or even sooner - it depends on the manufacturer. Some take shorter, some take longer. Usually people think it takes months on end b/c the dress stores don't order the gowns right away as a normal course of business. They order the dresses so that they will come in about 2 months before the wedding. If you need a rush on a dress, you may have to pay extra, but you can get it sooner. As your dress store about how quickly they can get the particular dresses in which you are interested. Some may be able to come in 12 weeks, but some may take a lot longer. It completely depends on the dress!

congratulations mommy to be!! my sister got married when she was 5 months pregnant.....basically we planned everything in 3 months (starting at month #2), so it can definitely be done. She had to pay a little extra for rush shipping for her dress- but I think it was like $125 so it wasn't too bad....her dress was an A line made by Eden Bridal. you can check out the pics I have in my album from her wedding, she had a slight baby bump when they did her fitting, but once the slip was on you couldn't really tell (not that it mattered anyway!). good luck with your planning!! and don't stress out too much.
