Some stores price match. For example, my BM dresses at RK Bridal with the no frills program is 156, netbride has them from 148. So RK prices matches by 5%. So the final cost with tax and everything was 146.
Try Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills, I think the owner used to work for Net Bride so the prices are comparable.

I heard things that NetBride isn't all that great to get a wedding gown from.
Do a search here on the boards and see what pops up.

I bought a bridesmaid's dress through there about 2 years ago (watters and watters) and had aboslutely no problems. they were much cheaper then listed other places and came in a decent amount of time...
We ordered our BM dresses through NetBride and it was great....they came early and look beautiful! No experience with Bridal Gowns though.....
Any update on this... I too am purchasing my wedding gown... not bridesmaid dress at netbride. I researched them on Better Business and Bureau and there were no big complaints or issues that I could see. It make sense that they have low overhead, so their prices were lower, however a trusted contact in the industry told me that the price net bride would get from the designer would be much more than they are selling it to me and she thinks they may be knock-offs. I hope that this isn't true... any thoughts?
Did you check with Carol at Burtons? She came back with some incredible prices for me on some gowns...almost as low as some of the dresses I found on House of Brides.com...

I just got my demetrios 1341 wedding dress from netbride , firstly it is much cheaper than new york macys store it beats its price by 25- 30% my dress in macys with alterations and veil 1800 on netbride with alterations manly Hollow to hem and orderd in correct size so it wont have to be made smaller with same edward burger veil came to 1150...the dress is original, looks great and i would recommend it to anyone...it came one month before the date they scheduled it for...so i will give netbride an A++++ I LOVE THE DRESS!!!!!
