I just got back and fell in lovee with a particular gown.. just wanted to know.. Its was our 1st spot for bridal shopping and my mother wanted to place a deposit for me but we all wanted to see if there was a difference in price of the gown elsewhere.

I would take a look at other stores my friend fell in love with a Lazaro dress at Kleinfeld's and found it for $1000 cheaper at The Bridal shop in Mamaroneck.

I bought my dress at Kleinfelds and got a 12.5% discount by asking---they will do that only if you ask.
Definitely look other places if its more convenient for you! But also get a discount from Kleinfelds if you decide to buy there...

kleinfelds was simply amazing when my sister worked with them for her wedding dress so i have to say the service there cant be beat... with that being said, definitely ask for a discount they will give it to you if you open your mouth... but also remember that they have a set price for alterations and its a nice high number... i forget the exact price but between 500-600. So if you have the extra money in your budget go there... the experience is great and they were soooo particular about the alterations (like nothing i had ever seen) but at the same time it cant hurt to look elsewhere... you can always go back there!!

I got my dress from Kleinfelds, 1st dress I liked in a mag and the 1st one I put on! I had looked online prior to going and Kleinfelds was actually below the price I had seen online! I too got a 12.5% discount because it was a trunk sale and also got a fabulous discount on my veil. Also, I have not had a single worry about the quality of service and they have been wonderful to work with so far!

yes we inquired and she was willing to discount the dress.. but since my dress is exclusively made for Kleinfeld

I got my dress there at a sample sale. i suggest you look at other stores and the only reason why i say that is that its best to have shopped around a bit. i loved my experience at kleinfelds the only thing was i felt pressure to buy my dress from my step-mom. regretted it after 2 days tried to exchange / return & they refused b/c it was a sample sale. lucky for me i decided i would continue trying on dresses and just buy whatever i fell in love w/but couldnt find anything else. i then tried my dress on again and fell in love w/it.

if you love a dress that only they make then go for it. :)
I may be the only person here who is not a fan. If you can find a place everyone recommends then I say go there.
You have no choice if K makes the gown. I'm sure you'll have a good experience.
