Teri, it IS sad, but it's also very thought inspiring. Give it a chance. It really made me think about 'what if??'

oooh! this will be my next one! i never have time to read during the school year (except social studies textbooks) so i'm going through books in a few days this summer! last week i read 'this is graceanne's book' by p.l. whitney- wonderful & 'suzanne's diary for nicholas' by james patterson, also wonderful. now i'm on white oleander, i'll be done by friday!

I just finished it. I enjoyed it, but (don't read further if you haven't read the book yet) am I the only one that didn't buy her relationship with Kilroy? Where did that come from? I never really felt that she loved him so I couldn't get into mourning her loss of him. It seemed ike they connected physically but he never let her in. I kept waiting for her to go back to Mike (which I knew she would eventually).
I also didn't like the ring thing - an engagement ring does not just become a friendship ring. She should have given it back or something.
