anyone regret that they didnt have a bridal shower?

Hey everyone,
I normally ont post much but I was wondering if anyone asked there family not to throw them a bridal shower and now regrets it. My wedding is coming close and I realize there is still so much that I need as well as I would like to have a day with all my girls. If anyone could give me sugeestions on how to now ask for one it would be appreciated. Thank you so very much. If also anyone could Fm me it thanks

so I am assuming that you told them you did not want one, right?

If that's the case, could be touchy to bring it up. But, if you really do want one, I would drop hints like telling them how the brides on this forum all post about their showers and they sound like so much fun.

I did tell them that I didnt want one in the beginning when we first got engaged but now over time I feel bad about it so ive changed my mind. my fiance and I are paying for the wedding but my parents are throwing us the rehearsal dinner so I feel bad about asking them to pay for it how do I go about asking his family to throw it. I dont want my family to feel like they havent given me enough and I dont want them thinking I want this just because Im jelous of other brides. thanks again
