Anyone renting an arch or something similar for ceremony at hall?
I was just pricing how much it would cost to buy an arch and put tulle and silk flowers on it.
It may wind up being cheaper to rent one?
Does anyone know how much that costs and where you would get one?

Doesn't the site at your hall offer something like that? I'm not familiar with your hall...

No :( When I went there the first time to look around they told me they charged me $5 pp for the ceremony to be there and I was looking thru their albums at ceremony decorations. When I asked 'Did you provide the arch? did you provide a sound system' they said no... which I promptly replied 'WHAT IS THE $5 for???'
Ok dumb story, to answer your question it is totally my responsibility to decorate for the ceremony.

If your only decorating it with tulle and silk flowers than you should just go to Michael's. They're like $25 to buy there. My florist is charging us $250 to rent it and decorate it.

Yes, I believe Michael's sells arches.
Maybe it will be a bit cheaper if you have a coupon.

We are doing two baskets of flowers since the ceremony is downstairs, we cant move the arch upstairs after the ceremony. When the ceremony is over they will put the baskets on each side of our table. It was a lot cheaper too. I didnt want to pay 300.00 for something I was going to use for 30-45 minutes

The arch is provided by our hall. But I am 'recycling' the arch decoration. My florist is going to take the flower decorations off the arch after the ceremony and convert them into centerpieces for the reception.
