If so where are you getting them from. DeSeversky only has white and ivory available and I want red tablecloths and red napkins.

Re: Anyone renting linens?
I am doing a red theme as well, but I don't think the budget will alllow table cloths or overlays for 20 tables
I was thinking about either runners or chair sashes in red.
Do you think that would look ok?

I think table runners are a good way to go, especially if you have oval tables like I do. I actually bought really pretty fabric at a local store in Carle Place (can you believe it was only $7.99 a yard?!) and I'm having my mother make them for me. Making runners isn't hard if you know how to use a sewing machine is what I've heard.

I think red runners on a white table would look awesome. Check out this MS pic with a red runner. Also some chair cover pics from finishing touch.
Thanks KB I LOVE this picture you posted!! I think those chairs look great with the red seat cushions. The crispness of the white looks so awesome with the bright red!

Re: Anyone renting linens?
My tables are round, but I still think they would look ok. And my grandma can definitely make the runners for me.
But the linens that are offered at the hall are a damask or a white on white stripe. I am not sure if they have plain ones, and if they do I fear thay may be the plain polyester ones. And I'm not sure how they would look with runners. And..if I do a red runner, do I need to do red napkins to tie it all together?
Rachel - do you know what the linens are?

That picture was one of the reasons I am going with an all red theme. I love that. I am thinking maybe white chair covers with a red bow or maybe rent red chairs...
What do you think...I have 60 inch round tables. Full red cloth or white under and red runner?

Yeah you would have to rent the under linen then. You can't put a red runner on damask. I would definitely do red napkins with a red runner. I love that look.
They are going to look like this except with red and pink flowers and I will have different vases that will be filled with cherries and water. The pic is from IreneInChicago's wedding and lucky for me, I am using the same florist!

That's a tough call -- I would go to a linen company and have them set up a round table for you so you can see what it looks like both ways. I think maybe for a round table that a full cloth might look better. I think maybe part of the reason that picture looks so good is because the table is square? But I'd want to see it in person to be sure!

I will also have the hanging votives and he said he just started this new thing where he wires rose petals and it looks like they are dripping off the centerpiece. He couldnt explain it that well, but he said they are going to look, 'SICK!' I can't wait to see my sample CP - but that won't be until July!

That sounds AMAZING! I wish I had a cool florist -- mine just gives me attitude for no reason That's why I'm bringing Elaine with me to my next meeting -- maybe she can knock some sense into him before I have to go Bridezilla on his a$$

I am thinking of renting either linens or chair covers ( I have not seen what the Carltun gives me yet). How much do they go for??
