Anyone see the new shows on TLC?

What not to wear They basically makeover someone from head to toe with a $5000 budget.

I only saw parts of this but the stylists were BRUTALLY honest with the woman they were working with. According to the makeup artist she was devoid of color and looked like she needed a blood transfusion. The clothing stylists said the colors she used to wear were black and vomity. The woman of course looked amazing at the end and was appreciative of the criticsm as harsh as it was

Faking It - a panel from a specific field, in this case interior design, choses someone to fake out experts in the feild. It was really cute - they took this constrution worker/contractor from Boston that never travelled, sent him to Beverly Hills to be an interior designer. It was basically a crash course and he did really well. He was part of a design contest with 3 other real designers. None of the experts picked him to be the 'fake'

Christine....I am laughing so hard at the subject of your post....when I read sows I thought you meant like pigs on TLC!!! then I read the post and realized it was shows not sows!! LMAO!

I have seen commercials for both shows and they dont look like they will last too long!!

I saw parts of What not to wear late night Saturday. It was pretty funny (and cruel). I want to see it again. Do you know when it is on?

I saw what not to wear. It was pretty funny (but mean). Did you see the two 'fashion coordinators' what right do they have to judge anyones clothing...they didn't look so great.

Betty - the man they had when I watched on Saturday needed to be on the show himself. I think he should be in that 6-way mirror or whatever it was. I personally think he need a haircut. Nothing wrong with long hair but I thought his need some trimming and shaping.

Betty, I was thinking the same thing. The two of them are not all that great and yet they are ripping other people apart. The show was kind of funny though.
