anyone see this MOB at Adrienne's

It's a creamy, taupe colored crocheted dress. The crochet is very tiny, and you wouldn't think it was first crocheted when looked. But it has the lovely patterns you only get with crochet or lace

On top of the dress is something like a short cape that you wear with the dress.

The bottom of both dress and cape have a soft fringe from the crochet.

My FI's mom saw it and emailed me this description. Did anyone see it or knows what she is talking about? Is it a gown or a dress?

I think I have seen it. My mom tried it on. It is pretty, it is not a ball gown, but it is an appropraite MOB dress depending on your taste. It looked horrible on my mother.

Is it the dress my mom wore?

It wasen't the style she orginally wanted but she also didn't want a ball dress and when she tried it on I thought it looked great on her!
And we didn't think she would do it but when she did take off the jacket it looked very pretty as well. If it's the dress your she gets she won't be able to wear a corsage and will have to do what my mom did and put it on her purse.
