We're thinking of taking my neice and nephew(9&10) next weekend? Anyone even heard anything about the show? Lion King was our first choice, but I can't get tickets.

Re: Anyone seen 'A Christmas Carol' at MSG Theatre?
I saw it a couple of years ago, and I thought it was great. from what I remember, there were quite a few kids there watching and enjoying the show. I don't think they'll like it as much as the lion king though...it's a little more serious. But definitely worth seeing (and I think this is the last year they are performing it).
If you decide against it, check out the Christmas Spectacular at Rockefeller? Sounds cheesy, but maybe the kids will like it.

Thanks ladies! I think it said Jim Dale or Jon Dale for scrooge......?? I'll have to run it by my SIL for pre-approval
Debbie- I tried for Radio City tickets too, but there aren't any tickets left. We're last-minute-lucys. I didn't know we would be in NY until just recently. Any other places to get Lion King or Radio City tickets besides Ticketmaster?

I loved it!!
see if you can get seat in the first row in the mezzanine. there are seats on the floor then a big gap in between the floor seats and mezzaine. The actors stroll around in that space, so you feel like you are part of the play!!

Re: Anyone seen 'A Christmas Carol' at MSG Theatre?
I've seen it twice and I'm going this year because it's the last year. I saw the Radio City Spectacular and was bored to tears but kids would enjoy it.
My insurance company gave us a special deal on A Christmas Carol and we're going the day after Thanksgiving. Orchestra seating for $44 each.
It was buy one get one. Here's the code: NEMPIRE
You can go to Madison Square Garden's Website and it'll give you the schedule where the offer is valid. Otherwise it's good for $10 off peak shows which is also good.
Hope that helps!

Try the Box Office at each theater.
