anyone seen the news?? (xbox)

Has anyone been watching the news about xbox 360 coming out today? This is crazy! People sleeping outside of the stores for a game.

On ebay... the premium xbox 360 is going for $1400 dollars when it sells for $400. The Core xbox is going for $800 when it sells for $300. This is nuts!!!

Would you camp outside of a store all night for this? I wouldn't.

i wouldn't camp outside for xbox...but i would camp outside for the new playstation 3 or even the new nintendo system!

Every Christmas these companies do not PRODUCE enough of these consoles, and it drives people to insanity!!!!

Doors opened at 12:01 a.m. at the Toys R Us near my house, and people slept outside!

i agree - they never produce enough - and create such a hype for it....

as a kid - when cabbage patch kids were the rage - an aunt had to preorder a doll and then show up @ toys r us @ 6 am -go to the 'back door' and they tripple bagged them - cause people were getting robbed for them in the parking lots!!! can you believe that story!! i was too young to know - but then i think - she went through all that and then i drew on the thing with crayon!!! imagine!!!

URRRGGG Please don't mention that stupid game.
This morning I had to go to Toys R Us personally to pick up time sheets for our temps so they can get paid tommorow b/c of the holiday (they couldn't fax it b/c they don't have a fax machine ). Anyway so theres people outside on line, I'm banging on the window to tell them to open the door, and the stupid cashiers are waving, and laughing. I'm like 'OPEN THE FRIGGIN DOOR, I DON'T WANT THAT X-BOX'

So pissed OMG. 45 mins to get the dang times sheets. Commack Toys R Us won't get a dime from me

that is what i got my fh for xmas bc he talked so much about it! but i was smart and ordered it like 2 months ago, it will be in with everything on december 13, 2005! i did not have to wait in any lines!

for kids its differernt but for grown men and women playing video games just doesnt seem like an adult things to be doing. let alone camping out for one...I work from 7:30am-till 10 at nite same for my FI he has his own company the last thing he would ever do would play a game when there is MONEY to be made in this world!!!!

Tell that to my FH!! He loves video games. My Fh makes good money, but he likes to enjoy himself. I would never have it different. My FH is a kid at heart. You and FH should play some video games. You both sound so serious!! Money isn't everything!!

BUT...I WOULD (and did) bring some hot chocolate and food to my Darling FH at 2 am as he and his friend camped out in the rain with a tent!!!

I knew how much he wanted this game!!!

yeah my FH was able to buy 2 cores, but not premiums. He said it was nuts!!! The next batch won't be coming out until march supposedly.

I cant imagine...we are serious but business is soooo crazy there really is no time in the day...7 days a week, Im lucky he is taking thanksgiving off....i wish he thought money wasnt everything

Cool! My FH got 1 premium. He's been playing the damn thing all day
