Re: Anyone Selling Their Earrings
Sorry, I got super cheap ones at Tricounty. Maybe check ebay or the flea market so you have a choice and it's not pricey. Just a thought

Do you have a picture of them? If they're the ones that you're wearing with your veil in one of your pictures, I love them and think they would look awesome with your dress!

That's totally normal! I think most girls feel like that as the days get closer and the details like dress, jewelery, etc. are becoming finalized! But honestly, you look SO beautiful in your dress and you're going to be gorgeous that day! Plus I've seen you talk about the fact that even though you were going for a different look in the beginning, you're so happy that you ended up choosing the things that you did because it's more you! So I think all of that will show once the day comes and you have everything on!

Its probably just my nerves - and the fact that I am not having the greatest experience with my dress fittings.....I just hope everything works out in the end.....I have had zero problems during wedding planning - its been pretty smooth sailing - the only drama is with the dress! out of all things - why the dress?!?!

What's happening with your dress??
what isnt happening! ill try to be short :)
first fitting they give me a drawstring slip - a one size fits all - they say its the only kind they have - so i put it on for my fitting - in hindsight i should have just re-scheduled but my mom was there (she flew in and my fitting was a total surprise for me) i didnt buy a slip beforehand b/c the bridal salon told me that the seamstress would help me pick my undergarments at the first fitting - so i thought they would have different things for me to try - but no - just a one size fits all drawstring slip - and i am a size 0 - maybe even smaller than a size 0 because as of now my waist is like 22.5 inches...so by the end of the fitting the slip is hanging out of the dress because no matter how tight you tie it, its just way to big for me.....
so i had my second fitting this past friday and i said i wanted to try it on without the slip - she aruged with me - but i said listen this slip aint working for me it kept falling out last time and that was only after 5 minutes, i told her the wedding day it would def be worse - oh and they also will not sew in the slip b/c i asked if they could at least do that and they said no, we don't do that here (both the seamstress and person up front said that)....so i try the dress on with no slip - but its super flat that way and i dont really like it so flat looking.....my FMIL took pics for me at the 2nd fitting and when i got home i realized that my bustle was crooked - now they dont have a 3 way mirror for brides (they only have them like that where you try on dresses, alterations are in the back of the store which if i would have seen where they did alterations i would have never ordered my dress there b/c its ghetto).....so now i have to go back and have my crooked bustle fixed....this weekend that i found a slip that fits me - but with this slip the hem is def going to be too short because the slip is very full.....so now thats two things that have to be re-done....also the dress was still huge on me after she already took in the entire top at the first fitting - it just looked like a$$ on me.....instead of making it tighter she kept trying to shove in more cups....ohh and my dress is already filthy - they keep telling me dont worry it gets cleaned when they press it - but there are dirt marks in 2 spots that i saw on the bodice in the front.....ohh and there is bunching in the front of the dress because of the 'lining' and there is nothing she can do - after my FMIL told her no, it has to be perfect, she said she would fix it - but who knows if that will happen, she kept saying you have to smooth it out with your hand - UM NO - it better be fixed - its like you can see the lining being bunched up inside the dress - i dont know, i feel like the dress looks like a$$ - im having the worst experience - and its because im 'too small' i need to 'eat' so if after my next fitting which is oct 31, im still not happy, i guess ill have to take my dress elsewhere, but im nervous to do that, because i will need to have it cleaned and pressed as well - and i have no clue where to go....

Re: Anyone Selling Their Earrings
OMG girly! I'm sorry...that's a lot going on with the dress! They definitely need to step it up and make sure everything gets taken care of with the dress...I would just stay on them non-stop about it! I'm surprised that they're not more prepared for situations like this and not doing everything they can to make you happy! See what happens at your next fitting and if you're still unhappy I would throw a fit!!! That'll usually scare em enough to get the job done right! And I would make sure you keep pointing out the dirty spots that you see on the dress so that they know that you're aware of them and where they are exactly! That way they'll be sure that dress is as clean as can be when you take it home with you! So the slip that you found that actually fits you...are they going to be able to fix it so it's not hanging out of the bottom? I hope your next fitting goes a lot better...the dress really does look gorgeous in all of your fitting pics...so once everything is done it'll look perfect!!!!

i called after i got the slip that fits - and told them about the hem - they said it should be fine and she should be able to un-do the hem because she didnt cut the dress - she just added more pick ups to the bottom....some im hoping its ok!
