anyone shop at the Bridal building in Manhattan????
Just curious if anyone has shopped for their bridal gowns in the bridal building or buildings in the bridal district in Manhattan? I am planning to go there on Sat. with my mom to shop for dresses. If you have, where have you gone that might be good places. Please Help- Thanks

My mom and I went there, but they were closing so we only went into a few shops. There are a lot of dress stores in there, so go into them all and try on everything you like. Make sure to wear clothes that are easy to get on and off, because you'll be doing a lot of that. And shoes that slip on and off.

Me Me Me!!!!
I bought my dress there (Best Bridal). It is 2 floors of small bridal shops. I got a great deal for my gown and I got shoes, shawl, tiara, money bag, etc with it. Don't expect it to be a Bridal Reflections kind of store meaning nice digs but for me it was just fine. It kind of reminds me of RK Bridal in terms of how the dresses are displayed so you will have to look through the displays to find what you want. You can also ask if they carry the designer you are looking for.
Also, don't bother registering in the lobby. If they ask you just tell them you already have an appointment. That whole registering is a PITA and they keep you down there so long.

Don't worry... it is worth the trip especially if you are starting to look around. The shops are on the 11th & 12th Floors.

I bought my dress from there, on the 6th floor.It is the only one on that floor. The 11,12 floors have alot to choose from. Don't be afraid to try on diff dresses.I was, my MOH made me try on some dresses and I found the ONE there.

I did because I heard it was a great place too look. It was actually the first place I looked. I was disappointed I have to admit because quite a few stores were closed and I didn't think they had a large selection. I went there first thing on a Saturday morning and I just honestly expected more than I found.Anyway, I ended up then going to RK bridal on 39th Street and found a large selection and picked out my dress that day. If you don'f ifne what you want there, try RK bridal on 39th ST.. Good luck.

I definitely know they have flower girl dresses and accessories in some of the stores.

I am not sure where the Bridal District. As to whether or not the bridal building carries a lot of different designers I am not sure (i only walked into 3 stores till I found the dress I wanted) but i am sure they carry a good amount of the designers. The place where I got my dress also does the alterations so I am assuming all the stores there do the same.
