I really wanna tell him but i am not. i want him to be surprised..i just keep showing those outrageous ugly dresses from like the 80's with those headpiece things and wife of frankenstein hair and tell him that is the one!

I keep teasing FH just like you. I told him it was blush color and had a 12 foot train....so not me at all. Then I tell him obnoxious things like it has really puffy sleeves.
Anyways, as much as I want to tell him, I want him to be surprised. But then again, it's me just being traditional...

I've shown him both online and bridal magazine dress photos, and we discuss what we like and don't like about each dress. He has really great taste, and he really enjoys checking this stuff out with me.
Each time I've gone dress shopping, I've left him home, but when I narrow it down to dresses that I would definitely consider purchasing, I am going to bring him with me to see how I look in the sample. I totally value his input, and I wouldn't want to wear a dress that I liked and that he hated - because he does care about this.
