I did! It was very nice- I can't really rant or rave because we were only there for a few hours. We arrived after our reception after midnight, and we got up pretty early the next day to drive out to the Hamptons. Our room was very nice though, no complaints at all!

Well... I'm not sure it was really worth the cost - but, on the other hand I don't know where else we would have gone. We chose the Claremont because its so close to Sans Souci. If you are planning to stay in a hotel, then I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't be worth it.

I did, and honestly, I am not sure I would again. It's a nice hotel, but since it was more expensive than the other hotel we booked for the OOTers, most of them did not stay at the Claremont. It would have been nice to see some of them for breakfast the next day.

My biggest problem with the Claremont was actually the night BEFORE my wedding. There was a wedding in the hotel that night and when I checked in, it was chaos at the front desk. they screwed up my reservation and had to move me twice. The wedding down in the ballroom went until 1 am and drunk people were talking loudly in the hallway until about 3am. They put me in a room at the end of the hall, so all the headlights of the leaving guests were shining in my window between 1 and 2. Then, when I finally got to sleep, I was awakened at about 6 by the clinking of breakfast dishes, since they put me next to the kitchen, which I did not realize until 6 am. They did know I was a bride because when I was checking in, they still had me down as getting the bridal 'special' even though I had changed it about a month before for just a regular room. I guess they weren't too concerned about me, though, since I was not the one getting married at their hotel.

I wouldn't do it again - I would have gotten ready in the Wingate, where some of my other guests were staying. The night of the wedding was fine, since we were both exhausted and the hotel was quiet. We stayed there since it was close to the Swan Club, but I don't think it would be a big deal to go somewhere else.

We got one of their bridal suites and it was really nice. Was it worth the money, well it was about 300 and we were only there for a few hours, but it was a nice way to kick off the HM. We got there at 11:30 pm and left at 5 am because we had a morning flight to Hawaii.

I asked DH and he said HECK YEAH, IT WAS REALLY WORTH IT!!! With that much emphasis. LOL.

It was really nice. The room had a canopy bed and there was a second room. I think it would have been nicer if we could have stayed there a bit longer, but we really liked it.

I think my mom is planning my shower there. It is a very nice place and mostly it has a more personal feeling.

My co-worker stayed there & LOVED it! He keeps talking about how much him & his wife loved that hotel.

What about the Garden City Hotel also?
