I am getting married at Eastwind in Wading River and we are taking pictures before. I need some ideas on where to go, since I am not familiar with the area.
Any ideas or comments on the above?

There is a main house, a carriage house, a garden with a hole in a tree to walk through very lovely... the great lawn in the back of the mansion. Also there is a stone bridge leading to a small island with benches.
I hope to have my pictures taken there... $50 fee though.

Loved it. It rained the morning of my wedding, but we were still able to take pictures in the afternoon. Our photographer just kept us on the pavement where the ground was drying up. I saw other brides on the lawn, but didn't want to risk my dress getting dirty before the ceremony. They are very helpful and are open on weekends for permits. Totally worth the $50 and $75 for parking our bus the day of the wedding. Attached is a photo of my DH and my girls. The greenery is all we wanted.
