Re: Anyone taking pictures at Old westbury gardens ????

My best friend took pictures there when she got married last July. Her proofs are gorgeous, we took pictures in all three or four different gardens on the site... BUT Westbury Gardens is HUGE. Hiking though that place in heels was not fun for us (the BP), as it was July and hot as h***. Her train was filthy from grass and mud and whatever else afterwards. But her pictures were stunning.

We are taking pics there. We just got our confirmation this week.

Diana is the sweetest person I have spoken to in all of my wedding planning, and the mansion and grounds are GORGEOUS. We are so psyched!

we mailed in our reservation forms and are waiting to hear back from them. i recommend you reserve it now even if you're not sure whether you're definitely taking pictures there. you can always get your deposit refunded. it's such a popular place; you never know how quickly it'll get filled up. i'm not getting married until april of '08!
