Did anyone book some uplighting? How many individual lights did you book for the perimeter of your room?

oh i am not sure! He knew my hall like the back of his hand so I just left it up to whatever he thought would be best....sorry!!!

I spoke with my DJ about the lights at CLM and he think we would ideally need somewhere from 20-30 lights to go around all of the downstairs room...including that back part of the room where the bar is. HTH

I've been getting quoted $50/per light I think thats a little expensive but JMO.

I told my florist what I wanted, and then he suggested the best way for the uplighting to be done.
So, through my florist.

That is expensive per light...Try going through your DJ or florist because they are usually cheaper.
I an using a lighting vendor on LIW because my DJ does not provide this.

i dont think im doing it, but my Brother had it at his wedding last year! their color was red so the lighting made the room look amazing!! they got the lights from their florist!!

Yes I'm in the downstairs room...someone told me I'll need about 20 lights down there...I thought that sounded like alot because of all the windows and mirrors in that room. But I'm obviously not a professional so I don't know what to do!

We're doing uplighting! I'm not sure how many we are getting, but I think the amount of lights varies according to the room. We are using NEC, they are a recommended vendor on here for lighting! I know the price varies by room also, but I would definitely check them out!! HTH!
I booked through my dj and getting between 20 and 30 lights...i spoke to alot of differnt people about this and for most halls you need at least 20 uplights to get the full effect

we are going through our dj who does our hall a lot and he said we needed 22 lights
