I don't know whats' going on with me lately, it seems like this house isn't big enough for my parents AND me anymore.....I just want to move out and be with FH already and I feel like another 4 1/2 months is insane.....am I the only one who feels like this?

me too. We close on our house at the end of the month and my parents don't want me moving in till after the wedding. Ahhhh it never ends

i felt like that about 6mos ago. i was going nuts and wanted to move out sooo bad. i was stressing myself out. ive learned to relax a lot and now things are better. i still cant wait to be out of here and with fh!!!!!!!!

Once in a while I do, but more often I lie in bed sad that its my last few months of being in my room. I think my mom and I are fighting more lately, but I think thats anxiety. We always fought more just before I would go back to college or DC, so I can imagine the final move out would lead to anxiety that would start us fighting months ahead.

i would i get cranky after a long weekend there...you fall back into the roles of parent and child...last time i stayed over my father said ' you will not leave this house without a coat tonight young lady' and i had a flash back to high school.....stick it out ladies not too long to go

I'm trying to move back in with my mom!!!! No mortgage, no utility bills, no insane oil bills!!
lol ok vent over. I love having my own house and living with FH, but it is a huge financial shock the first year. Enjoy living at home for now...take advantage.

FH and I just looked at houses tonight... I really hope we find something soon because these houses were crap! I cannot wait to move out but after the houses I saw tonight I was glad to come home to my nice cozy home... even if it with Mom and Pops!

Let me share my story. My fiance and I bought a house last year and he's the only one living there!!!! I still live at home with my mom and brother. I spend time at both places but sleep only at moms. Clean, cook, etc at both places. I could move in if I really wanted to but we're trying to do things right. Moms very traditional. Also, my FH works long hours, rarely spends time at our new house, mostly just sleeps there. I have those days where I just want to move in but then I think about my mom and how much shes going to miss me (already does and I still live with her!!!) and that in five months and for the rest of my life (hopefully) i wont have to live with the fam anymore. Trust me once ur married, u'll miss your moms house so much. I already miss it and I havent left yet.

Not sure what area you live but we bought our house last year in Bellerose (Queens side not Nassau- Nassau's way expensive) We love Bellerose. Good price too $450 and under. CHeck it out.

Enjoy it while you still can girls!!!! After a really long day the last thing I want to do is come home and worry about making dinner for FH and myself. I never realized how much time cooking, cleaning, laundry and food shopping can take up...I miss the days when mom did it all.

I will admit I'm going to miss having dinner (or something that's supposed to resemble dinner) waiting on the table for me when I come home from work every day. And my laundry being done. My mom has long since stopped cleaning my room, and I think I just saw a dust bunny scurry across my feet.
I really should have been an heiress.

It's because the end is so near that you're feeling that way! I remember when I first moved out, the weeks leading up to it my mom and I fought constantly. Then my last night living at home, I cried.
Now it's a treat when I go to sleep at my mom's house.
It sounds cliche, but really try to soak in every minute of it. It goes by too fast.
