LOL Rachel, you're funny...

Christine gave me a number of the calligrapher she used, but I don't have it with me, why don't you FM her. Also, my friend just used someone, I BELIEVE it was $1.00 per envelope... I'll have to double check, I know I wasn't much help now, but if you want my friend's info, I will get it for you.

I used them for my placecards and they turned out great!

I also used Laura from LA Productions for my envelopes.

Call Rebecca from Favorite Invitations - she does computer calligrpahy for $1 a set and they come out wonderful. Plus she is a doll to work with!! I feel as if I am always recommending her to people on this board but she has honestly been my favorite vendor to work with. She just had a baby and is not continuing her work until the end of June but if you can wait till than, you will be very happy!

Good Luck!

The Phone number listed for LA Productions on this website is a fax...anyone have the real #? Also, is she located in Port Jeff?

Did you ever think of doing it yourself. I used Inkspun and they came out great. But after I got them back my FI add another 10 people. I had to get them out right away so I did it myself in Word and they came out great!

Let me know if you want me to tell you how I did it.

Hmmm....and how would I do that? Measure my envelopes and set my widths to whatever they are and then go to town? My invitations are HUGE!

What about table cards from the hall? One can't do those themselves can they??

Re: Anyone Use computer calligraphy that WASN't Inkspun? And

My envelopes were 7.5x7.5 so I changed the width and height in page set up and also change the layout to have it vertically centered. I also made the top margin a little bigger so they would print a little lower on the envelope.

I picked a font style and size, centered it, bold and printed it.

I don't know about table cards.

Laura's # on the web is correct. It is a phone/fax. If you FM her she responds quickly.

Rach ... let me know if you need someone good. I sent Mary to her also. She's very fast & priced really well. But you have time for this, no? But better now than later ... I waited until really the last minute, so good for you!

BTW ... how's it going on the Maroon tux scenario? Did he put his deposit down on them yet?

Also ... I did the seating cards myself, but you can have them done if you want. I went to Party Experience & bought the ones w/o the 'M_____' line so I could get them in the printer w/o too much trouble. They came out great ... when the time comes, (not until most of your responses are back) ... let me know & I'll help you!
