Re: Anyone use Davids Bridal?
speak to a manager or who ever you have to speak to order the dress in your correct size. That is not right

Re: Anyone use Davids Bridal?
My sister was told the same thing as well when she tried on the dress. They didn't have her size to try on in the store and told her should could return if necessary.
I would ask to talk to the manager!

Re: Anyone use Davids Bridal?
but they sell everything off the rack - so why cant they give you a different size - it shouldnt matter - they're selling it either way. And its their mistake if they ordered the size to big

You should still be able to exchange the dress for a smaller size. This happened to my friend and it wasn't a problem. Talk to a manger--as long as they have in stock in their warehouse it shouldn't really be a problem.

Yeah - but now they have that size to keep in stock - its was obviously already made - its only been a few weeks since you ordered it -- i would try talking to someone else

If you went to David's in Westbury I was told you can exchange your dress twice. The first time I went to pick it up it had a whole in it. The second time it had a stain. I was told if I want to exchange for the stain I would not be able to exchange for size before the wedding. I spoke with Helen..very nice woman.

I can vouch for this. My sister got her dress at this store (as did I) and she exchanged hers twice as well - she lost a lot of weight so she got a different size as she lost the weight instead of doing too many alterations.
Ask to speak to a manager and if they will not help you, demand the corporate number like someone else suggested. I ordered my dress in June and it came in the following week - I was told it would not be in until October. I told them that I would never have ordered it if I knew it was going to come in so soon, and that because I now had to store it for a lot longer than I had planned, I wanted one of their thicker garment bags. The women at the store were not very accomodating and kept telling me that since the bags are 'inventory' they can't just give one to me... no idea what that means .. so my mom called the corporate headquarters near Philly (they are in conshohocken, PA) and the woman she spoke to sent one to her, no problem. I know who their PR firm is, too, so if you get no where with corporate, let me know.
Good luck!

Did you get this problem resolved? Deb is thinking of getting her FG dress there, and I wouldn't want a problem to arise. Mary MOB
