After going to a bridal show, a Mary Kay consultant called and offered a free makeover. She came to the house and I bought what I liked... she said they do makeup (and it is a considerably lower price than most other people). Has anyone ever used them for an occasion or the day of their wedding? I'm worried that since they are not a 'makeup artist' that it won't stay as well as if a real makeup artist did it. TIA!!
I did one, and it was pretty good. The woman who did it has been w/ MK for ions!! The woman who would have been doing my 'wedding' makeup had just started doing makeup applications, soooo, since she was a beginner, I politely bowed out. It was my first trial and I would say try it, the colors were great.
I had a trial with one, but in the end opted for someone else.
I think I am probably going to use a professional... maybe I will have her do my makeup for my friends wedding though! We'll see!
I did & I had a good experience. She did a great job & it stayed on all day.
