As in Vaginal Contraceptive Film? I went off the pill, and I need something else to use as birth control. I'm not too keen on condoms, but this is supposed to be a film that dissolves and acts as spermicide. Anyone use it and like it?
i've used it in the past and liked it, but when i asked my doc about it she said she totally recommends it, but to use with a condom, i told her no, and she said that it's better than nothing!!! i don't know the percentages are, but i would google it and see what you come up with. by the way, i never got prego using it, but you can
Well, I was thinking we'd still use the pull-out method. That's not very safe, but I figure, paired with this, it might be okay then?
I'd assume it's like any other contraceptive foam of jelly, in that it's meant to be used w/ a condom of diaphragm. I think I read somewhere that spermicide alone has something like a 70% effectiveness rating with perfect use (as in, if it says put it in 10 min beforehand, wait 10 min, or if you have to reapply after an hour, reapply, etc).
