anyone use/using Black Forest Bakery?

if so, what type of cake are you getting and does your RH include it? I need some ideas - I don't mind upgrading a little from the standard but I don't know to what lol... i just know i want some chocolate brown incorporated into the cake, and FH and my cousin said no fruit filling

ideas?? pleeease?

our RH uses black forest. the RH cakes are round chocolate or yellow cake. you can upgrade for additional flavors and shapes($.25-$2.00 pp) The included icings are butter cream and whipped cream (fondant, panache, ganache are extra $1-$1.50 pp). They include a variety of fillings (whipped cream, butter cream, pastry cream, cannoli, various mousses, puddings, fruits).

We have four layers (3 will be chocolate, 1 yellow). Butter cream outside, cannoli and chocolate mousse in the inside.

Hope that helps. I suggest going to Black Forest yourself. FYI, they are resistant to samples, but they did give us a mini cannoli to try.

that is gorgeous!! did they let you taste it first? i'm not a huge fan of cannoli filling (though everyone else is, so i should just stay out of it.

did black forest provide the 'touch of vienniese' the riviera gives you as well?

thanks! i didn't know different layers can be different. Good to know. i do want to go there, but i guess if they won't let us try the filling ourselves it might be pointless.... i don't know. we'll see.

thanks for the help!
