This past weekend I went to a nursery that does weddings to compare prices. They were over $1000 less than some other professional wedding florists I had seen. Im just worried that the presentation will not be as good as if it were done by a professional wedding florist. The prof place gave me avery good feeling that they would have everything under control and I wouldnt have to worry about anything. At the nursery, when she showed me the plastic bowls they would put the centerpiece flowers in, I got a little scared. I dont know if $1000 is too high a price for peace of mind.

Re: Anyone using a nursery to get flowers?
I looked at A & S Florist in Whitestone. They are also a nursery but I saw pics of stuff they do for weddings. They seemed to have nice stuff and they quoted me $2100 less than another florist. Do whatever will make you most comfortable!

Re: Anyone using a nursery to get flowers?
I don't know who my cousin used for her flowers...but I know it was a nursery near the Flowerfield (if that helps at all??) Anyway, her flowers were FANTASTIC! Our bouquets (one dozen roses) lasted for like a month! They wer BEAUTIFUL. The color was so vivid...The quality was there...Nice job...I can find out where she got them,...but i know it was definitely a nursery...
