me too! I am going to two places tomorrow, I'll post after. What do you want for $1500? Any parent albums - One piece of advice, don't go to any person that your reception place recommends, they have to increase the price to pay them a commission, that's why they always ask where you are getting married before they show you prices. Try VIP studios. Prices are on www.vipstuli.com

I actually just want pictures of the ceremony (which is at the reception place) and then family pictures before cocktail hour. No reception coverage. I can't seem to find anyone who will do this? Thanks

You and my sister have the same wedding day!
She is getting married at Flowerfield.
Since you only have a month and a half left, I think you can negotiate just about anything you want. Most vendors have already booked, and they most likely will be very flexible just to get business. I am using Park Avenue Studios.

We used John Braille studio - I think he has a website, but his number is 631-696-1600. He was wonderful and very affordable. If I find the website, I'll let you know.

when I was looking for a photographer, I realized that many that offer their services for $1500 or less, don't include the development/or the printing of the pictures. Printing in that sort of paper/quality that is used for wedding albums, is very expensive, if I am not wrong, it can cost you $10 per piece.

Good luck!

Sorry so late but I just booked my photographer today. I am the happiest person. I found them on my way home - lucky me. They are called Duet Wedding House and Studio. There photo and video stuff is unbelievable. They are Korean and the videographer used to be a commercial film director in his country. His video is the best I have ever seen. In there base package you get 2 photographers, 1 videographer, 2 parent albums, 20x24, thank you cards and more for under $3,000. Duetwedding.com is the website. They are in Huntington Station on Jericho Tpke. There prices are cheaper because they have only been in business for about 3 years. Just to put things in perspective, I popped in a video of a wedding that North Shore studios gave me and i was amazed at how bad and amatuer the video was, my 8 year old niece could have done better. Sorry to anyone who booked with them but if you see this guy's work, it is unreal. Before you book, CHECK THEM OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
