I've been seeing posts about people using Costco to book their honeymoons. Any feedback on how they have been so far? Good/bad experiences? We're dying to go to Tahiti! Thanks!

Re: Anyone using Costco to book honeymoon?
I actually just called them earlier today and they said the package rates for June '06 should be out in 3 weeks!!! I've been getting quotes from various TA's, but I really want to see what Costco has to offer b/c i've heard a lot of great things about them and their prices! Take a look on their website too, they have some good Tahiti packages from NY... but they are the '05 rates.

Re: Anyone using Costco to book honeymoon?
My parents booked their trip to Aruba last year (obviously not a honeymoon) and they did it through Costco. They were able to get a great deal. I think for her honeymoon my cousin also booked through Costco as well (also for Aruba).

I have been looking into booking my trip from BJ's. My friend's parents usually book their trips from BJ's and have never had any problems.

Oh damn, maybe it was BJs that my parents booked through. Now I don't remember!! Sorry! But I am sure both Costco and BJ's are good.

Does anyone know how their prices compare to those of travelocity, expedia, orbitz or any of those other discounted web packages?

Re: Anyone using Costco to book honeymoon?
Hi, thanks for whoever suggested Costco. Im not a member but I did get some quotes. I have friends who are members and would use theirs. I got quotes for Hawaii and for Bora Bora. The only thing they didnt really have info was for airfare to Tahiti. For the most part...fairly reasonable and the Hawaii quote beat everyone I asked.

That's so great! Could you provide any info on your bora bora quote? I've gotten quotes from other TA's for our honeymoon but Costco said another 3 weeks till their contracted rates come out.

Sure, Bora Bora - 7nites Over water bungalow Fly into Papatee then to Bora Bora 1 Free dinner for two Free breakfast (every am) 1 complimentary spa massage for couple Around $4600 (that is island/hotel only) She figured in about $1600pp for airfare and charter transfer for Papatee to Bora Bora...a grand total of $7500. (airfare was not out as far as rates) A little too steep for me! I think we are highly in favor of the Tahitian Cruise. A little better for us and our BUDGET!
