i was thinking of using a white flower on one side of my updo with a veil attached under my hairdo. for people who used flowers in their hair, did they use a real flower or fake? and did you take it with you to your hair trial with your veil? i'm not quite sure how to go about this.
I used fake just because I wasn't confifent a real one would hold up after 10 hours. It took me forever to find one that looked real so in the meantime when I went for my trial I went with one that I knew I wasn't going to use but just to get an idea on the size, etc... Good luck!

I was thinking of using fake flowers because they'll hold up better and I don't think you'll really be able to tell in pictures...Here are a few I found at Gabby Mac

LOVE the orchid and magnolia. I am not wearing flowers in my hair but my BM's all are-they are each wearing a silk gerbera daisy because I am not confident the gerbers will hold up if they are real. They tend to be fragile out of water. We just bought stems, cut them off at the base and then attached them to little combs to slip right into an updo or the side of the head.

the more i think of it, i think artificial flowers would probably work better for the actual day.
