I wanted to pick Navy for the bridesmaid dress which I will be going some time in Feb. I met with Maria from Distinctive Floral as she told me that if I did all white/ivory flowers for my centerpieces it would be too blah. She suggested adding a few blue delphiniums in the large centerpiece and doing the water filled vases of 3 different sizes with the blue delph. for the small centerpieces. Both centerpieces will have the LED blue stones at the bottom of the vases. I've tried googling images to see what it would look like and I can't seem to find anything. I can't picture these centerpieces for my October wedding. Is anyone doing Navy blue BM dresses? Are you incorporating blue in your flowers? Please help!!
Im having an October wedding as well. I think I'm going with burnt orange dresses. Then orange/yellow/reds for my flowers. I think navy dresses will be pretty with white and blue flowers. All white is too plain to me you need something to offset it a little. Itll be pushing colder months I was gonna do those colors in late november, I think its pretty!! :)

I am doig navy dresses and all white personal flowers. My center peices have some alternating blue hydrangea but that's about it. I didn't want it to be a full color scheme

I'm an October bride with navy blue dresses. I'm doing ivory and light blue roses with sunflowers (FH's pick). I didn't want blue in my CPs or BoKs because I'm not a huge fan of blue flowers other than hydrangeas. I love the way it looks. There's pics in my CP album.

I'm stuck and debating between fall flower colors with the navy, I think that will pop or doing the white with touches of blue. I just can't seem to drop the idea of fall colors since that's the season I'm getting married in. My first color choice was the burnt orange. Bari Jay has a really nice color but FH wasn't a fan.

Those are nice! Where did you go that they made you sample centerpieces? If Distinctive Floral did that for me before booking I wouldn't be driving myself crazy.

That's nice and different. Mine will be in white garden roses and regular roses and the BMs will have roses with blue delphiniums.

Maria at DF said she could dye the orchids to a navy blue... I wonder if the price changes if she does that.

I'm booked with Michelle at Hidden Essence. She didn't do the samples until after we booked, but we could have changed them as many times as we wanted. The only thing we changed was adding the flowers in the water (they were just filled with water originally). I would contact Michelle if I was you. She is so down to earth and has great ideas, plus she gave us an amazing quote and didn't disappoint with the samples - I can't wait to see the flowers on my wedding day!

I plan on doing Navy/midnight blue BM dresses. I actually have an appointment with Roots on Sat. so I can discuss ideas and colors. I am having bird cages and vintage books as my centerpieces. I just need to figure out what flowers I want inside the cages. This is my vision:

Im doing navy BM dresses in July. Our flowers will be ivory with the navy fabric wrapped around the bouquet. For CP it will only be ivory flowers with hanging pearls. MY colors are navy,ivory and gold and the theme is vintage.
