anyone want a cat?
My kitty is 4, the cutest thing, grey & white with green eyes. I'm not sure FH will be able to put up with him after we are married so I am trying to find him a nice home (FH is telling me to keep him b/c he feels bad, but I know he would prefer not to adopt a cat!)I have lots of pics so FM me if you are interested.
He is such a good boy!!!

Re: anyone want a cat?
Please keep your cat, your FH will get used to him and love him just as much... My FH was mad when I rescued a puppy a few months ago because we already had a puppy, and he wanted me to find it a new home. Now he is so in love with this dog, he the dog even sleeps on his pillow every night.

My DH hates my cats, but it's part of the package, I took the responsibility on way before I met him, it really is very hard to rehome a cat, there are already so many out there, if he is open to moving in with the cat I would DEF. keep him.GOOD LUCK

absolutely. everyone should think of pets as they would their children. it's a responsibility that you took on by CHOICE. any animal will become attached to its owner and it's cruel to just get rid of it because your lifestyle changed. all too often people forget that pets are not just cute little furry things with no sense of attachment----they're just like humans. if you pulled a 4 year old child out of its parents' arms, the child would be traumatized. same with an animal.....

Re: anyone want a cat?
Your cat is part of your family, please don't dump him!My husband never wanted a cat, he said he hated cats.... but after living together for several years and knowing how badly I wanted to give a cat a home he decided to take the plunge.
Our rescued kitties (we started with one, we now have 2) have become life-changing for him. He misses them when he isn't home, and Madison sleeps on his stomach at night. It took all of about 2 weeks for him to fall in love with her.
