Anyone Want To Split The Cost of...

8 oz WHITE take out boxes for favors?

The best price I found so far including tax and shipping is $44.48 (which is fantastic) but it's for 500 containers.
I would use 185(at the wedding) MAX
Taking into account that I might make a few mistakes putting the ribbons on and what not, and using them for other things as well, I'd want to keep 200-250 of them for myself...

I definitely don't need all 500...

does that make sense?

Either way, from looking at sites like that, it seems that even if no one wants the other 250 containers, it'll be cheapest to go through them.

Yup! it's almost the same for 200 on Uline, so I figured I'd see if anyone else needed them, b/c if they do... this will be half the price of the cheapest quote i'd gotten so far.

thanks for the suggestion though. Uline is definitely the best price for smaller quantities that i've seen

I say buy them anyway and just keep posting to sell them. Not everyone may have their favors picked out yet and we might be adding new 08 brides as well. And you can always post it on the 09 board!

yea, i think that's what i'm going to do. They are so much cheaper buying them in a wholesale bulk order than by the 100 elsewhere...

and i LOVE the takeout boxes, i sell jewelry and stuff so i could use them for that too...

There are always uses for these things. We have about 125 tote bags left over from our OOT bags, and I'm going to keep them on hand for when we are giving wine to people or for presents.

BUT i just realized, that we might be doing a candy buffet too... which means i might want to hold on to them...we were gonna use regular bags b/c the containers were too expensive but now they might not be.

how many would you need b/c i don't think we'd need more than 360(180 favors 180 buffet) (and again, that is MAX based on our guest list not our RSVP list)

how big are the tote bags? are you looking to get rid of any b/c i was just looking at totes online...
