I don't feel like my bridal party is going to do anything nice for me unless I do all the planning. It's like everything else. We don't get together unless I plan it all out. Help! ANy thoughts? I want a pink Limo thats for sure. I'm getting upset b/c our BM is planning a nice 2 night event for my FH and feel like once again I'm going to get the shaft.

There is absolutely no problem in stepping up and planning your own Bach Party - that's what I'm doing. I feel it's better because then you get to do what you really want to do. What if what your BMs planned/surprised you with isn't really what you wanted to do?
I'd say I've been in about 7 BPs and there was only 1 that the bride did not plan the Bach Party along with the BMs and that was my friend's wedding where I was MOH and she did not want to know a thing - she told me to plan it.

i hear you baby!! 1st off- im the 1st of my friends to get married so no one has a clue as to what to do. 2nd- my whole BP is from different cliques so they dont talk without me (thank god for facebook and emails!) 3rd- my MOH has a lot going on in her life right now so i feel like it's not a priority for her. and im not saying that i should come before everything else in her life, but since she is my MOH and BFF since were 4yo, i'd like just a little bit of her attn.
other people have asked me what we're doing and i've had to ask my MOH and she says 'IDK'. However since, we've come up with a date.. Now I could be completely wrong and she is, in fact suprising me with something, but i dont think so.
AAAANNNDD, I soooo hear you about the men! My FH's BM has had the bach party planned since he put the ring on my finger! LOL no joke, they reserved rooms (suites, excuse me) at some fancy hotel in Vegas months ago!! hahaha AHHHH!
PS sorry I took over your post, but I'm right there with you.. HEY! Let's plan each others! LOL

I'm only having two BM's and they aren't friends with one another. I never even thought to have a bachlorette party though, especially since I did the whole going out every night of the week in my younger days. I don't go out now and haven't in years. My one BM did run the idea past me of going to AC but I told her I would have to think about it. I did so much going out when I was younger and to go out for one night as a last 'night out', it's not me really. FH was going to have a bachelor party, but now just him and one friend are going to AC. I also asked him if he wanted to do a group thing, but he didn't seem to like that idea.

I agree, is there any way to talk to your MOH and kind of hint aka tell her what you want? I will do that when it comes time for mine!!! My sis is my MOH and I want to make it clear that I don't want strippers, etc!! There is no problem with that!

ITA. I am planning mine too. I told my BMs where I wanted to go & I am looking at hotels...b/c I want to lol. They will plan some fun stuff for us to do & I can only imagine the gifts I will get
